iScope for materials science (petrographic)

The IS.1052-PLPOLi is the binocular petrographic version of the Euromex iScope, designed for studying materials with polarised light. It is fitted with strain-free PLPOLi plan objectives 5x, 10x, 20x and S40x, a graduated rotating stage of 160 mm and a complete polarisation set with analyser, quartz wedge, compensator plates and Bertrand lens. Köhler NeoLED 3 W illumination, the iCare sensor and antibacterial paint complete a very well-equipped microscope for its category.

• Pair of EWF 10x/22 mm eyepieces: one with crosshair reticle and the other with crosshair reticle and micrometer
• Siedentopf binocular head inclined at 30°, interpupillary distance from 48 to 76 mm and dioptre adjustment on both eyepieces

• Strain-free PLPOLi plan objectives for polarisation 5x/0.12, 10x/0.25, 20x/0.40 and S40x/0.65, infinity corrected (IOS)
• Optics with anti-fungus and anti-reflective coating for maximum light transmission

• Coaxial coarse and fine focusing: 200 divisions, precision 1 µm, 0.2 mm per revolution and total travel of approx. 24 mm
• Focus stop to protect slides and objectives, with friction adjustment
• Köhler NeoLED 3 W transmitted illumination, adjustable, with internal power supply of 100-240 V (CE)
• Polarisation set with polariser rotating 360°, analyser, quartz wedge, 1λ and λ/4 plates and Bertrand lens
• iCare sensor: automatically switches off the illumination when the user moves away from the microscope, saving energy
• CSS (cable storage system): the power cable is easily tucked into the back of the microscope
