The CMEX-5 WiFi-4 is a digital colour microscope camera with a 1/1.8-inch 4 MP Sony CMOS sensor, delivering a live image at 2688 x 1512 pixels. Its main strength is triple connectivity: it sends H.264 encoded images over WiFi to several smartphones, tablets or computers running iOS, Android and Windows at the same time, and it also works via USB or LAN at 30 fps. It is a practical option for sharing the observation between several users without setting up complex data networks, and thanks to the adapters included it fits most monocular, binocular and trinocular microscopes.
